There you have it folks --the ghost of the old lady on the parkway in Niagara-on-the-Lake. Each time she is picked up thumbing for a ride home, she disappears in the same spot believed to be where her home once existed, in the now vacant space on the parkway. No one ever reports having the good fortunes of picking her up a second time. Furthermore, residents in the area have never seen her roaming the parkway. She seems to appear to individuals passing through. Most people who have encountered the woman report that she’s harmless and the experience of having her around is very peaceful. It is like having a grandmother figure sharing a few moments with them.

I have had several people tell me they have gone looking for her and driving the parkway late at night trying to find her and no luck. It seems that getting the opportunity to have her share a ride with you comes from random chance.
